Because of an initiative of members
in Rangsdorf of the GBSL (society for the preservation of places
of the German aviation history e.V.), the development
association Bücker-museum Rangsdorf e.V. came into being on the
25. March 1995 with 17 foundation members, it has more than 100
members in Germany, Austria and Sweden after six years existence. |

The head marks of the society
consist in taking care for the protection and the sensible use
of the listed buildings and facilities of the former Bücker
Company, the former aero-club-house and the 1936 opened Reich
sporting airfield in Rangsdorf. Furthermore the society
studies the history of aviation in Rangsdorf, collects it’s
testimonies and shows this story in publications as well as in
a permanent exhibition and in a future Bücker- museum to offer
pupils and adults the possibility of a useful free time
occupation by the model construction and –flight. |
